| المستخلص: | The study aimed to indicate the reality of the political culture of the Arab community in Canada. The study was applied on a random sample of (326) members of the Arab community who are living in Canada, especially in major Canadian cities where the most of Arabs live. The study consisted of two basic fields, the first one is doctrinarian was represented in reviewing books and articles that dealt with the reality of the Arab communities in Canada, in respect of number of people, the date of their arrival, their culture, social and political backgrounds. The second field is the primary of this study. It's information will be derived from the Arab community directly through a questionnaire that represents their political opinions, their political attitudes, their political knowledge and the sources of their political information, and then analyzing their opinions by using the statistical method (SPSS). The study found that the trends in the study sample about their role In the Canadian society were moderately positive, The study also showed that the trends of the Arab community about others in canadian society were moderately positive. In addition, the study showed that the trends of the study sample about the Canadian government were moderately positive, The study showed that also more sources of political information about the Arab community in Canada were the educational institutions in their original countries. هدفت هذه الدراسة؛ بيان واقع الثقافة السياسية لأبناء الجالية العربية في كندا، وقد طبقت على عينة عشوائية مكونة من )٣٢٦( فردا من أبناء الجالية العربية المقيمة في كندا وعلى وجه الخصوص في المدن الكندية الكبرى التي يتمركز فيها أكبر عدد من العرب، وقد تكونت الدراسة من شقين أساسيين : الأول نظري تمثل من خلال مراجعة الكتب والدوريات التي تناولت واقع الجاليات العربية في كندا، من حيث العدد، وسنوات الوصول، والخلفيات الثقافية والاجتماعية والسياسية، أما الشق الميداني الذي هو الأساس والعمود الفقري لهذه الدراسة، فستكون معلوماته مستقاة من أبناء الجالية العربية بشكل مباشر، وذلك من خلال توزيع استبانه تتعلق بآرائهم وتوجهاتهم ومعارفهم السياسية ومصادر معلوماتهم السياسية، ومن ثم تحليل آرائهم بالاعتماد على المنهج المسحي الإحصائي(SPSS)، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن اتجاهات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول دورهم في المجتمع الكندي، كانت إيجابية بدرجة متوسطة، كما بينت أن اتجاهات الجالية العربية حول الآخرين في المجتمع الكندي، كانت أيضا إيجابية بدرجة متوسطة، إضافة إلى ذلك، فقد بينت أن اتجاهات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول الحكومة الكندية، كانت إيجابية بدرجة متوسطة، كما بينت أن أكثر مصادر المعلومات السياسية عند الجالية العربية في كندا، كانت المؤسسات التعليمية في بلدانهم الأصلية. |
