| المستخلص: | The problem of poverty is one the of most common problems that plague society. Governments can’t resolve it without a strong and just system of social solidarity which must have financial sustainability. If the concept of poverty have been identified accurately and uniformly based on the Quran and the Sunnah, that is the first and necessary step for the treatment of the problem; whether it depending on Zakat and Awqaf or other resources of social solidarity in Islam. It is no secret that, if addressed the problem of poverty will come to a sense of satisfaction and thus deepen and strengthen the affiliation, which supports and strengthens the bonds of unity of the nation. It is worth mentioning that the West has suffered from this problem and also realized the danger, and that the treatment in the hands of the rich. this research is an attempt to unify the meaning of a most dangerous concepts of economic and social development; namely poverty, especially has become an intractable problem in many Islamic countries in the modern era. Although Islam has put controls enough to fix the problem' but we are in desperate need of a new project to apply it in a contemporary, which this search will try to attainable. Search divided to six sections; will address first the basic concepts of poverty and its causes, and will address the second of the poverty line from Islamic vision, while cares third Zakat and treatment of poverty in Islam, while reviewing the fourth types of social aids in Islam, while raises fifth social aids in Egypt while address, sixth a project proposals system of new social solidarity |
