| المستخلص: | The developing countries need a good solid management for the protection of the environment and health community due to the population\ growth and\ lack of appropriate\ waste management technology, Egypt lately confront a real problem with (SWM), which will\ continue\ to create\ a real environmental\ and health\ problems\ unless a\ proper management is taken as well as the cooperation of the public is need it .Data in this study was acquired directly from the field , involving combination of methods , questionnaires , face to face interviews, focus group and personal observations , secondary data were derived from (literature reviews , journals , magazine, internets , thesis , books, governments reports, workshops and conference. A simple questionnaire distributed among citizen in Cairo, the study targeted both gender from different ages and with different educational backgrounds, the sample number was equally distributed in the chosen districts .The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS (statistical package for social Sciences).The study found that the application of separation and recycle methods could solve the problem of (SWM) in Egypt , the study also revealed that citizen awareness about environment aspects had a positive effect on (SWM). |
