| المستخلص: | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على الخصائص الديموغرافية للمتقاعدين، والخدمات التي يحتاجونها، والمشكلات التي تواجههم في مجتمع الإمارات. ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف تم تطبيق منهج المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة، وتم سحب عينة عشوائية منتظمة بلغ حجمها 500 مبحوث من قائمة المتقاعدين المسجلين لدى الهيئة العامة للمعاشات والتأمينات الاجتماعية، حيث تمت مقابلتهم عن طريق الهاتف. كشفت نتائج التحليل الوصفي أن النسبة الغالبة من المتقاعدين هم من الذكور، ومتوسطي العمر، والإداريين، كما أظهرت النتائج بأن أسباب التقاعد ترجع إلى الرغبة الشخصية بالدرجة الأولى، والتفرغ للأسرة ومشاغلها بالدرجة الثانية، والملل من العمل بالدرجة الثالثة. وأوضحت نتائج الدراسة أن المتقاعدين يحتاجون إلى نظام تخفيض خاص بهم، وتأسيس جمعية اتحادية تهتم بشؤونهم. كما كشفت نتائج الدراسة أن المتقاعدين يعانون من مشكلات متعددة: المشكلات الاجتماعية: زيادة في وقت الفراغ، وتقلص علاقة المبحوث بعد التقاعد بمحيطه الاجتماعي، والمشكلات الاقتصادية، وارتفاع الأسعار وعدم كفاية المعاش، والمشكلات الصحية، وانخفاض النشاط العام، والمعاناة من مرض مزمن، والمشكلات النفسية: عدم حضور مناسبات العمل، وعدم القدرة على تحقيق أهدافهم. This study aims at identifying the demographic characteristics of the retirees, the services they need, their problems, and the obstacles facing them in the United Arab Emirates society. To achieve these objectives, a social survey method based on samples has been applied, as random regular samples amounting to 500 researched persons have been drawn from the retirees list at General Authority for Pensions and Social Insurance via phone interviews. Results of descriptive analysis disclosed that the overwhelming proportion of the retirees is male, middle aged and holders of administrative posts. The results also showed that the causes of retirement are due to personal desire in the first place, as well as family concerns and work boredom. The study showed that the retirees need a special reduction system and establishment of a federal association to take care of their affairs. The study further disclosed that the retirees suffer from multiple problems, such as social problems, excessive leisure time, shrinking of relationship of the researched persons with their social surroundings, economic problems, prices rising, insufficiency of salaries, heath problems, lack of general activities, suffering from chronic diseases and psychological problems, in addition to absence from attending business events .and inability to achieve their objectives |
