| المستخلص: | Merowe dam had been kept in paper for not less than seventy years when its plan was made by the Anglo-Egyptian condominium rule and Sudan. After the independence of Sudan, disagrement with Egypt and Sudanese political instability worked against building of the dam. Salvation Regime managed to have sufficient foreign investment from Gulf states for building the dam without rejection of Nile Basin states. Being built, and all the necessary accessories of generating electric power for all Sudan, benfits are uncountable: irrigation for agriculture, fisheries, and all kinds of industries. |
