| المستخلص: | Physico-chemical characteristics of the Khasm el Girba water were studied. The water temperature values ranged between 21.9°C and 31.2°C across the location. Maximum temperature of 31.2°C was recorded in summer, while the lowest temperature of 21.9°C was observed in winter. There was seasonal variation of temperature between dry (summer& winter) and wet season (flood). A steady trend of temperature variation was observed. The mean pH value ranged between 7.05 and 9.14. Seasonal variation in pH was observed between dry season and wet season. The pH values indicated an alkaline state of the water throughout the sampling period. The water transparency value ranged between 2.5 cm in flood period and 100 cm in winter. Hie concentration of calcium during the summer period recorded high value (22.1 mg/L) but low value during the flood (15.6 mg/1). Analysis of (SiO2 - Si and PO4 - P) were made, and showed large seasonal changes. The concentration of silica was high and usually between 14.0 and 23 mg/L. Phosphorus was found in high concentration in the flood period (0.04 mg/L) but lowest concentration during winter (0.017 mg/L). Also the occurrence of phytoplankton and zooplankton were described quantitatively and qualitatively. The concentration of plankton was very low during the flood season, when adverse conditions of water flow and high turbidity existed, but it was found with high densities during the dry seasons (winter and summer). However the results showed strong relationship between the planktonic density and water physico- chemical parameter (P < 0.01). تمت دراسة الخواص الفيزيائية والكيمائية لمياه بحيرة خزان خشم القرية. قيم درجة الحرارة تراوح بين (24.9-31.2 C) عبر المواقع. درجة الحرارة القصوى سجلت في الصيف (31.2C) بينما درجة الحرارة الدنيا (124.9C) في الشتاء. كما لوحظ أن درجة الحرارة اختلفت موسميا. درجة تأين المياه تتراوح بين (7.05-9.14) كما لوحظ اختلاف في قيمها خلال الفصل الجاف والرطب. وكانت في الجانب القلوي طيلة مدة الدراسة درجة شفافية المياه تراوحت بين (2.5cm) في فصل الفيضان و (100cm) في فصل الشتاء. تركيز الكالسيوم خلال الصيف أثبت درجة عالية (22.1 ملغم/لتر) ودرجة أدنى (17.1 ملغم/لتر) خلال فترة الفيضان. تحاليل السليكات والفوسفات أثبتا مدى موسمي كبير. تركيز السليكات كان عال (عادة بين 23-14 ملغم/لتر) وبدرجة ارتباط عالية جدا. الفوسفات أظهر تركيزا أعلى لفترة الفيضان (0.04ملغم/لتر)؛ وأنخفض لفترة الشتاء إلى (0.017 ملغم/لتر). \ دراسات الهوائم النباتية والحيوانية تمت دراستها وتحليلها كميا وكيفيا. وكميات الهوائم عموما أظهرت وجودا طفيفا خلال فترة الفيضان؛ مع الزيادة الواضحة خلال فترة الجفاف (الشتاء- الصيف). العلاقة بين كمية الهوائم والخواص الفيزيائية والكميائية للمياه أظهرت علاقة خط مستقيم، عالية الارتباط. \ |
