| المستخلص: | A researcher in the history of Bahrain finds it difficult to determine the exact import of the word Bahrain over the ages. Certain names gamed currency purporting to define it and then fell by the way. Hence it is necessary to determine the dates when they surfaced and then became obsolete. Similarly what are the geographical areas, which these names represented? However, such a determination of the time and place, which the term Bahrain signified over the ages cannot be based on an absolute proof; it can only be relative, as to the areas represented by various names as they originated and fell into disuse later from time to time. |
