| المستخلص: | يعالج البحث شعرية العتبات النصية لرواية (أنثى المدن) لحسين رحيم وهو روائي من أبناء الموصل الحدباء. وكما هو معروف فإن العتبات النصية أو المرفقات النصية هي ما يحيط بالنص، وتعد مفاتيح إجرائية أساسية يستعملها الباحث لاستكشاف الأغوار العميقة للنص، وتشمل العتبات: (العناوين الأساسية والفرعية، واسم المؤلف والتمهيد، والمقدمة، ولوحة الغلاف) وإذا كان النقد القديم لم يول عناية للمرفقات النصية، فإن النقد الحديث بدأ يركز على جزئيات العمل الأدبي وعلاقاته الداخلية والخارجية، فأصبح كل ما يحيط النص جزءا من النص، يوضح غاياته وبواعث إبداعه. \ ومن هنا وجدنا أن العنوان الرئيس لرواية (أنثى المدن) مع العناوين الفرعية واسم المؤلف والإهداء تستحق الدراسة والتحليل، فضلا عن لوحة الغلاف وما حوته من اسم المؤلف وظل ومساحات بيضاء وصور.. للوقوف على القصدية الدلالية للرواية، في معالجتها للقضايا الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية لمدينة معينة، في وقت معين.
