المستخلص:The subject of women is one of the vital topics in African Studies. It is one of the entrances that are seized by the advocates of feminist thought to influence the depth of African thought, and Muslim as well, in order to undermine it and impose their own visions, undermining the African heritage; the beliefs and culture, customs and traditions. In the contrary; the Muslim researcher pauses at the Muslim social aspects, cultures and customs of each people objectively and fairly before judging them, and then select from them, styling, and presents .. And this is what we have tried to abide by it in this study. This study is a modest attempt, stepped-oriented towards social and anthropological dimension, to display a range of customs and traditions framing the life of women in sub-Saharan Africa, and in the west in particular, and what relationship with freedom and dignity of women those customs and traditions have and put them in the African community, in a general Islamic framework. The article is talking about human creation myths (creation myths), language and sexist vision in Africa, then tackles the issue of Wisdoms, Proverbs and vision for women, and religions and beliefs, and also customs and traditions, women and the period of childhood and adolescence in Africa, circumcision and female genital mutilation and qualifying education, and the problem of fattening girls, and also tattoos and the seeing of beauty, Women and Education, marriage from an African perspective, the engagement, dowry and women’s rights. It also talks about virginity from an African perspective, forced marriages and its introductions, polygamy, Divorce, Women and inheritance, and other important issues about women in Africa
