الوصف
المستخلص:Financial and economic aspects is one of the most important aspects of society being the pole that many historical events belong to (whether in the past or at present). Islam is the perfect religion with its integrated legislations that covered all aspects of life. It is not only restricted to worshipping aspects but also draws and frames the economic activity that is engaged by a Muslim. Islamic law sought to create a kind of balance between the individual’s behaviour and reassures his needs on one hand and the financial and economic activity on the other hand. Islam set rules and legislations for the benefit of the individual and society, which are characterized by being legislated on realistic and practical basis where they meet the individual’s needs and at the same time they don’t neglect the interest of community. Islamic legislation is not for a specific time but it is characterized by continuity and comprehensiveness. Thus, Islamic economic approach proved its success when it applied its legislations in the early of Islamic eras. Studies on the economic and financial aspects in the Islamic states focused on jurisprudence, asbscess and money and even these aspects have been dealt with in history books. Al-Amwal is one of those books that deal with financial and economic aspects. It is of financial jurisprudence references in Islam because this occupies a prominent place in this regard. Imam Zanjawaih is considered one of the dignified Hadeeth scholars. His book is full of texts in general financial and economic aspect. It is from this that the book is considered of value. The difficulties faced the researcher was the complexity of the subject and its comprehensiveness which is included in jurisprudence as well as history books. As for the motives that motivated me to study this subject was my passion in the Prophet’s Hadeeth (peace be upon him) especially those collected by Imam Ibn-Zanjawaih who was known by his capacity of thought and science.

I chose this subject because the financial and economic aspects are among the most important elements of life and there is no civilization or country without having an orderly and efficient economy. The study required to be divided into four chapters preceded by an introduction and followed by conclusions, a list of references and an abstract in English. Chapter one included the life of Imam Ibn Zanjawaih (251 A.H – 865 A.D). It was divided into five sections. Section one dealt with the biography of Imam Ibn Zanjawaih, his name, surname, his frame, travels and scientific standing. Section two touched upon his prominent shieks. In section three, there is a review of his students and section five talked about his books and his death. In Chapter Two I have dealt with Imam Ibn Zanjawiah’s point of view about tribute and abscess. Its was divided into three sections. The first section discussed the tribute and it definition. It also included the definition of free non-Moslems enjoying Muslim protection. The section mentions the tribute and the beginning of its imposition and communities from which the tribute is taken. The second section handles the amount of tribute, how it is collected, and the tribute of Bany Taghlub. Section three highlights the definition of abscess, the beginning of it imposing, abscess types and the procedure of Caliph Omar ibn Al-Khattab in the Sawad area. Chapter three examined the kind of lands in the Islamic states as mentioned by Imam Ibn Zanjawaih. It included four sections. The first dealt with Al-Unwah land Al-Sawafin lands. Section two dealt with Al-Sulh, the third one dealt with the lands which were liberated by voluntary Islamic way and Al-Hima land. Section four discussed the land of Mawat and Al-Kata’e. Chapter four was allocated to study what Imam Ibn Zanjawaih mentioned about Zakat. It was divided into three sections preceded by an introduction in which I mentioned the definition of Zakat, the imposition in the Glorious and Sunnah and the sin of preventing Zakat. The first section discusses the Zakat of cattle. This section dealt with the zakat of corps while the third section handled Zakat of money. section five explained Zakat Al-Fitr. Finally, I hope that I gave the study its right and that I contributed to light an aspect of Arab Islamic civilization which is full of great and distinctive achievements. I hope to be of great acceptance among the readers and to forgive me of any slip or fault. And I hope that Allah accepts this sincere effort for His sake to be ongoing charity for us and our parents.
