| 520 | |b This paper is concerned with Stratification as a component of design effect (Deff)of sample surveys, in case of population means. There is a need to determine the pattern and magnitude of this component when the sample allocation is disproportional, and to see how such component behaves when parameters like strata means, strata proportions, and relative strata sizes vary, while strata variances are kept constants. Factorial analysis is carried out, to determine the effects of those various factors on the design effect and to form some idea about its expected magnitude when faced with a design of a specific given structure. Also, an attempt will be made to arrive at the expressions, which are believed original, for the design effect in the case of a population consisting of two strata. It is shown that the different combinations of strata means and constant levels of strata variances affect significantly the design effect. The Deff values increase with the increase in the common variance of strata and ratio of sampling rates. Also when strata sizes tend to equality and as differences between strata means is low. | ||
| 520 | |a تختص هذه الورقة بدراسة المعاينة الطبقية كمكون أساسي لأثر التصميم (Deff) لمسوحات العينة، في حالة الأوساط الحسابية للمجتمعات الإحصائية. وقد استدعي ذلك تحديد نمط وسلوك هذا المكون في حالة التقسيم الغير متناسب، تحديدا عندما تتغير معالم المجتمع التي تتمثل في الوسط الحسابي للطبقات، النسبة الطبقية والحجم النسبي للطبقة، في حين أن التباين للطبقات يظل ثابتا. ولتحديد أثار تلك العوامل علي أثر التصميم، تم استخدام التحليل العاملي حتي يتم تكوين فكرة عن النمط المتوقع عندما يواجه الباحث، بتصميم مماثل. وهناك محاولة أيضا لاشتقاق صيغ لأثر التصميم بدلالة العالم المؤثرة. ويعتقد أن هذه الصيغ تمثل إضافة أصيلة. وقد تم التوصل إلي آن الأوساط، الحسابية والتباينات الثابتة للطبقات تؤثر بصورة فعالة علي آثر التصميم، مؤدية إلي ارتفاع قيمته مع ارتفاع مستويات التباين الثابت للطبقات، النسبة الطبقية والحجم النسبي للطبقة مع تقارب حجم الطبقات حتي يصبح تقريبا نفس الحجم. | ||
