| المستخلص: | يعد التلوث الضوضائي أحدى مشكلات التلوث البيئي الخطيرة، بل يمكن اعتباره مشكلة العصر وملازمة لحياتنا، وتحديدا بعد الاحتلال الأمريكي على العراق عام 2003، وارتفاع موجة العنف على السكان وتزايد أصوات الانفجارات المتكررة والتي تكاد تكون شبه يومية وفي مختلف أنحاء العراق، لقد كان لفتح الحدود أمام الأسواق التجارية ودخول مختلف أنواع السيارات وتزايد أعدادها بشكل مذهل، انسجاما مع وضع الشارع العراقي الذي أصبح ضيق المنافذ بسبب الحواجز الكونكرتية ونقاط التفتيش المنتشرة بكثرة في مفترق الطرق، مما أضاف الأخير إلى تضخم الازدحامات المروية مما يعمل على ارتفاع نسبة الضوضاء الصادرة من تلك الوسائط النقلية، فضلا عن ارتفاع نسبة التلوث الهوائي الناجم عنها. \ تضمنت مشكلة البحث التساؤل الاتي:- هل بالإمكان استخدام تقنية نطم المعلومات الجغرافية GIS في تحديد نقاط أو المواقع لرصد التلوث الضوضائي في المدينة؟ وهل تجاوز الضوضاء في المدينة الحدود البيئية المسموح بها؟ لقد افترض البحث وجود مشكلة بيئية خطيرة تعاني منها بيئة مدينة بعقوبة، آلا وهي مشكلة التلوث الضوضائي، وتجاوزها الحدود البيئية المسموح بها، فضلا عن وجود جملة من الاثار الصحية البيئية التي يتعرض لها المواطن جراء ارتفاع هذه النسب. اذ تم تحديد نقاط أو مواقع (مكانية) لرصد التلوث الضوضائي. وتم تحديد مصادر التلوث الضوضائي في مدينة بعقوبة. ثم الوقوف على الأثار البيئية، وأهم الأمراض الناجمة عن مشكلة التلوث الضوضائي في المدينة ومعرفة مسبباته كان اهمها اعمال العنف والخرق الأمني الذي تتعرض له سائر مدن العراق بعد الاحتلال الأمريكي والحرب الأخيرة عام 2003 ولازالت حتى وقتنا الحاضر، وانتشار موجة التفجيرات المستمرة، وتحديدا على أهم الطرق الرئيسية في البلاد، وكثرة أعداد السيارات في وسط الطرق المغلقة والمزدحمة، مما أدى إلى ارتفاع الاختناقات المرورية، وارتفاع الضوضاء الصادرة عن حركة السير، لذا يرى الباحثون من الواجب الاهتمام بدراسة هذا النوع من التلوث على اعتبار انه من المشاكل البيئية الخطيرة، التي ينجم عنها أثار وامراض صحية خطيرة، فكان لابد من دراسة مصادر هذا التلوث والوقوف على مسبباته وإيجاد الحلول لهذه المشكلة وقد تحددت الدراسة بأبعاد مكانية وزمانية الحدود المكانية: حدود البلدية لمدينة بعقوبة لعام 2006. والحدود الزمانية: تتمثل ببيانات التلوث الضوضائي لعام 2012. هذا وتضمن البحث عدد من الخرائط التي استخدم فيها نظم المعلومات الجغرافية ورسم خارطة لثلوث الضوضائي في النقاط المدروسة من المدينة وتوفير السبل الناجعة لمعالجتها.
