| 520 | |a الزكاة عبادة مالية فرضها اﷲ تعالى على أثرياء المسلمين لإغنـاء فقـرائهم عن السؤال، وهي وسيلة تربوية من شأنها أن تطهر نفس المزكي من الإثم والبخـل ورذائل الأعمال. وهذا البحث يهدف إلى بيان مصارف أموال الزكاة في الـشريعة الإسلامية، ومعرفة اهتمام المسلمين في نيجيريا بها، مع كون حكومتها ديموقراطية وعدم عنايتها بالزكاة. وقد تظهر محاولات لمؤسسات الزكـاة فـي نيجيريـا فـي المساهمة بأموال الزكاة في اقتصاد الدولة، وإخماد الفقر والمجاعـة فـي المجتمـع النيجيري، ومع كون الزكاة أحد أموال الدولة لم تكن للحكومة النيجيرية حـظ فـي التفكير بها وتنظيمها ورعايتها ولو بقدر يسير. |b An arm giving (Zakat) is a form of worship involves wealth. It is made compulsory by Allah on the riches to be given out to the poor and needy without request. It is an educative method that it plays a significant role in purifying one’s soul and freeing it from sins, stinginess and bad habits. The aims of this research is to explain the beneficiaries of Zakat as in Islamic Law (Sharicah) and an attention paid to its obligation by Nigerian Muslims, despite that Nigerian government is democratic that does not pay attention to its collection and distribution. It is the aim of this paper also to account for the efforts of some organizations in developing, through institution of Zakat, economy of a nation and poverty and hunger alleviation in Nigeria society. Upon all these benefits of Zakat, Nigerian government shows charlatan attitude to it and develops no any interest or pays no attention to proper co-ordination and organization of the institution (Zakat). | ||
