| المستخلص: | تتعدد أعياد الأمم والشعوب وتختلف في مظاهرها كما تختلف في مقاصدها، وعادة ما تتأثر مقاصدها بديانة الأمة وعقيدتها، فالديانة اليهودية تكثر أعيادها، وتتمحور مقاصدها في ربط اليهود بتاريخه المقدس وبأحداثه الماضية، فصارت الأعياد الدينية احتفالات بمناسبات ماضية يسترجع فيها اليهودي ما مر بأسلافه من أفراح وأحزان وآلام وهو الأغلب. أما الديانة النصرانية فنجد أعيادها الدينية ارتبطت وتمحورت حول شخصية المسيح عيسى عليه السلام، وما يدور حوله من عقائد؛ من ميلاده وصلبه وفدائه وتعميده، كذلك ترمز هذه الأعياد إلى استرجاع تلك التضحيات التي قام بها المخلص عيسى عليه السلام تجاه أتباعه المؤمنين به. لقد كثرت وتعددت الأعياد في الديانة النصرانية فمنها ما يتعلق بعيسى عليه السلام، ومنها ما يتعلق ببعض القديسين أو الملائكة ن وكلها تخليدا لذكراهم وإحياء لما قاموا به تجاه هذا الدين، وتجديدا للمبادئ التي يدعون لها في نفوس أتباعهم. أما الإسلام ففيه عيدان سنويان: الفطر والأضحى، ويمثل يوم الجمعة عيدا للمسلمين. وتركزت مقاصد الأعياد في الإسلام على فرح المسلم بما تقرب به من عبادة لخالقه، ووقتا للترفيه المباح، وفي هذه الأعياد صلة للأقارب وصدقة للمحتاجين. وإظهار روح الجماعة بين المسلمين وإعلان الأخوة الإيمانية؛ داعين للتكاتف والتعاون فيما بينهم. The feasts celebrated by nations and peoples are numerous. Their rituals, aspects as well as their purposes are different. The purposes of these feasts are normally affected by the religion or the beliefs of the nation. The feasts of the Jewish religion are numerous and their purposes are centered around attaching the Jewish person to his sacred history and his past incidents. Thus the religious feasts turned to be celebrations for past occasions during which the Jewish person remembers the joys, the sorrows and mostly the pains that his ancestors had experienced. As for the Christian religion, its feasts are joined and centered around Jesus the Christ, peace be upon him. They are also centered around the beliefs that belong to him such as his birth, crucifixion, sacrifice, and his baptism. hese feasts are also symbols that recall the sacrifices that the Savior Jesus, peace be upon him, had rendered to his followers who believe in him. The Christian feasts increased and became numerous. Some of these feasts are related to Jesus, peace be upon him, and some of these feasts are related to some Saints or Angels. These feasts honor their immortal memories and recall what they have done for their religion. They also renew the principles, they call for, in their followers. As for Islam, we find that its feasts are few and limited. There are only two annual feasts. They are Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Then we have the Friday with its prayer, that day which can be considered as a feast for the Muslims. The purposes of the feasts in Islam are centered around the Muslim's joy for his worshipping deeds which he has done and practiced so as to be nearer to God. They are times for a permitted entertainment. During these feasts the relatives are tied together. People help the poor and give them the charity. These feasts also show the community spirit among the Muslims. They also highlight the brethren in faith, and they also call to join hands and cooperate together |
