| المستخلص: | یترتب على التغیرات المناخیة من تغیرات في البیئة بعناصرها ومكوناتها وبالتالي لما یترتب من تأثیرات على حیاة الانسان وصحته ونشاطاته المختلفة الاقتصادیة و الاجتماعیة وغیرها. تتمثل التغیرات المناخیة بشكل فًعال بتغیرات درجة الحرارة، والتي تتحكم بدورها بعدد من الخصائص المناخیة مثل كمیة التساقط المطري أو نسبة الرطوبة وغیرها. تؤثر التغیرات المناخیة عامة والحراریة بصورة خاصة على الظواهر الغباریة في منطقة الدراسة، حیث تؤثر عناصر المناخ المختلفة من درجات حرارة والرطوبة النسبیة والریاح والتبخر والضغط الجوي وغیرها على الظواهر الغباریة كافة، حیث ان شدة ونشاط هذه الظواهر الغباریة یرتبط بمدى نشاط او تغییر في معدلات واحد او اكثر من العناصر المناخیة، وتكتسب الظواهر الغباریة اهمیة كبیرة لانها ذات تاثیر كبیر على البیئة والانسان عموما . بغداد كأغلب مناطق العراق تتصف بالجفاف وارتفاع درجات الحرارة عموما وبصورة خاصة في فصل الصیف وقلة الأمطار شتاءاً. بمعنى أنها ذات مناخ قاري، القطر العراقي ومحافظة بغداد فأنهما یقعان ضمن المنطقة الشبه الجافة والجافة ذات تربة جافة ومفككة وجاهزة وسهلة الحمل بواسطة الریاح، والتأثیرات السلبیة لاستعمالات الأسلحة المحرمة دًولیا في حربي الخلیج الأولى والثانیة (الأسلحة الكیماویة والیورانیوم المنضب).
