| المستخلص: | ساهمت نظريات التحليل النفسي في سبر أغوار الطبيعة البشرية، وساعد تطبيقها على شخصيات أدبية عالمية على تعزيز فهمنا للعواطف المتناقضة والصراعات الداخلية للنفس البشرية. وقد أظهرت دراسات في هذا المجال وجود مجموعة من الصور والنماذج المعروفة باسم archetypes من التجارب الإنسانية المتكررة كالحياة والموت والبعث والسماوات والأرض والنار والفصول الأربعة المتكررة في أعمال أدبية شتى. ومن أشهر من عمل على دراسة هذه الصور والنماذج archetypes الناقد نورثرب فراي الذي قسم في كتابه (تشريح النقد) Anatomy of Criticism، هذه الصور إلى ثلاثة أقسام: الصور المستمدة من العوالم السماوية apocalyptic والصور المستمدة من العوالم الشيطانية (العدوانية) demonic وأخيراً الصور التي تعتمد على المحاكاة والمقارنة analogical. سأدرس في هذا البحث صور النوع الثاني demonic في قصائد (سونيتات) مختارة من سبنسر بعنوان Amoretti وشكسبير The Sonnets . وتهدف الدراسة لمعرفة نفسية كل من الشاعرين، ومعرفة الانفعالات والصراعات المختلفة، وتأثيرها في أثناء تناول مفهوم الحب والصور البيانية القاتمة المستخدمة في أعمالهما لتصوير الحبيبة. Psychoanalytical theories have greatly contributed to reveal the mystery of human nature. The study of these theories would undoubtedly offer a better understanding of the disturbance of the human psyche. This reveals the recurrent appearance of certain images or 'archetypes' such as birth, resurrection, death and the four seasons which are being communicated through symbols, images, myths and legends. The investigation of these archetypes establishes a new literary approach known as 'archetypal criticism'. This new approach seeks to dig out the images or archetypes used by the author or poet and then analyze the provoking emotions which prompt them. Northrop Frye, the twentieth-century leading figure of this approach, tries to establish the basic principles of archetypal criticism in his book Anatomy of Criticism. He distinguishes three basic types of imagery in his study: the apocalyptic, the demonic and the analogical. In this paper, I intend to study the second type of imagery in selected sonnets of Spenser's Amoretti and Shakespeare's The Sonnets. I will focus on lovers' psyches throughout highlighting metaphors and symbols and contrasting the similar and different use of the images and archetypes. I seek to reveal why each lover reveals specific feelings and emotions within a particular natural and symbolic framework, and try to discover the hidden motives which provoke certain images. |
