| 520 | |a كانت الهوية في ظل سياسة الأبارتيد أو الفصل العنصري في جنوب أفريقيا مسألة متنازع عليها. تهدف سياسة الفصل العنصري إلى فصل السود عن البيض لقمع السود والسيطرة عليهم وفي الوقت نفسه إثراء البيض على حساب السود المقهورين. كان ظهور "حركة الوعي الأسود" وهي المنظمة التي ولدت في أعقاب قمع احتجاج السود في الستينيات في الفترة التي تلت مذبحة شاربقيل، في غاية الأهمية في تاريخ مقاومة السود في جنوب إفريقيا، وقد حولت حركة الوعي الأسود الخطاب السياسي، وبينت إمكانية تغيير المظلوم ومهدت الطريق لنوع من الشعر كان يكتب في خدمة الكفاح المسلح وهو شعر سويتو، شعر المهمشين والمقهورين، الذي خلق المعارضة اللازمة لأشكال الهوية التي فرضها الاستعمار وسياسة الفصل العنصري. \ يهدف هذا البحث إلى التحقيق في بعض السبل التي شكل بها شعر سويتو هوية السود في جنوب إفريقيا ويركز على قصائد لكبار شعراء سويتو. إن هدف شهر سويتو هو بناء هوية السود وتصحيح صورتهم، وبناء هوية وطنية جديدة تتخطى المنظور الثقافي. يركز البحث كذلك على خطاب التحرر المضاد للاستعمار لسيف بيكو، مؤسس "حركة الوعي الأسود" وأعظم شهدائها الذي كرس حياته ليس فقط للتحرر السياسي ولكن لمساعدة السود على تحرير أنفسهم من عقدة الدونية التي أعاقت تفكيرهم وعملهم السياسي لقرون طويلة، ولاسيما في نضالهم ضد هيمنة البيض |b In a diverse and divisive Apartheid South Africa, 'identity' was a contested issue. The apartheid policy was designed to separate black and white South Africans, to oppress, dominate and control blacks, enriching white South Africans at the expense of the oppressed people. The emergence of Black Consciousness movement, an organization born in the aftermath of the repression of black protest in the 1960s that followed the Sharpeville massacre, was extremely important in the history of black resistance in South Africa. \ The Black Consciousness movement's main principle was best captured in the phrase "black man you are on your own". With this statement, Black Consciousness movement shifted the political discourse and located the possibility of change within the oppressed. Black Consciousness movement paved the way for a type of poetry that was written entirely at the service of the armed struggle. Soweto Poetry, the poetry of the marginalized and the oppressed, created a necessary opposition to the degraded identity imposed by colonialism and apartheid. Poetry has the capacity to empower previously dispossessed groups towards the reconstruction and articulation of new forms of identity. \ The objective of this paper is to investigate some of the ways in which black South African identity has been shaped by Soweto poetry. The paper focuses on poems by leading South African Soweto poets. The aim of Soweto Poetry was to construct an empowering black identity, to correct the picture of the once 'subordinated' people not as inferior and passive, but as human, societal and cultural equals and to construct a new national identity based on a trans-cultural perspective. The paper focuses as well on Steve Biko's discourse of anti-colonial liberation. Biko, the 'father' and greatest martyr of BCM, concerns himself not only with political liberation but with the meaning of blackness itself and helps black people free themselves of a psychological inferiority complex which had for centuries hampered them in their political thinking and action, especially In their struggle against white domination. \ | ||
