| المستخلص: | هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور المشاركة المجتمعية في الحد والتخفيف من آثار الجائحة من وجهة نظر المتطوعين، والتعرف على أهمية المشاركة المجتمعية في الحد والتخفيف من آثار الجائحة من وجهة نظر المتطوعين، وأبرز المشاركات المجتمعية التي أسهمت في الحد والتخفيف من آثار الجائحة، وقد تم استخدام منهج المسح الاجتماعي واختيار عينة عمدية عددها (۱۲۹)، طبقت عليها استبانة من إعداد وتطوير الباحث. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة عن الدور المهم لإسهام الأفراد والمؤسسات في مجابهة الجائحة بدرجة عالية، وعن أهمية تحفيز الأفراد وحثهم فيما بينهم على التعاون والعمل الجماعي لمساعدة المتضررين وبدرجة عالية، وأن المشاركة المجتمعية تساعد في تخفيف الأزمات التي تواجه المجتمع، إضافة إلى إفادة أفراد عينة الدراسة بأن المشاركة المجتمعية تعكس رقي المجتمع وتقدمه. This study aims to identify the role of community engagement in limiting and mitigating the effects of the pandemic from the volunteers’ perspective. It also explores the importance of community engagement in mitigating the effects of the pandemic from the volunteers’ point of view. Likewise, the study seeks to find out what are the key community engagement instances that contributed in easing the effects of the pandemic. The study used social survey method and chose a random sample consisting of 129, along with using a questionnaire, which has been developed by the researcher. The study results revealed the important role that has been played by individuals and organizations in dealing effectively with Covid-19 pandemic. Likewise, the study results revealed the importance of motivating and incentivizing individuals to cooperate in helping those affected by Covid-19 and how community engagement helps in mitigating crisis that face any community. Finally, the study concludes that community engagement reflects the level of development and progress of the community. |
