| المستخلص: | جاءت هذه الدراسة بهدف التعرف على تجارب أمهات ذوي الإعاقة العاملات خلال جائحة كورونا Covid-19، وتم الاعتماد على المنهج النوعي الظاهراتي؛ لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، واشتملت الدراسة على عدة مشاركات من أمهات ذوي الإعاقة العاملات في المملكة العربية السعودية، البالغ عددهن (۹) أمهات، تم اختيارهن بشكل قصدي من عدة مدن من مختلف مناطق المملكة العربية السعودية، وبمهن مختلفة منها: ست معلمات، ومهنة مساعد إداري، ومحاسبة، وعضو هيئة تدريس، وكانت أعمارهن تتراوح بين (٣٤- ٤٩) عاما، وتم إجراء المقابلات المتعمقة شبه المنظمة؛ للحصول على نتائج الدراسة التي أظهرت تجاربهن خلال فترة الجائحة، والتي أسفرت عن وجود عدة مخاوف وتحديات لها صلة بالإصابة بالفيروس والجهل بالمصير، بالإضافة لمخاوف وتحديات متعلقة بالوضع التعليمي للأبناء، والأوضاع الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والأسرية، والنفسية خلال فتره الجائحة، وتمحورت في معظمها حول الابن ذي الإعاقة، وتم ربط هذه التحديات والمخاوف بأحداث سابقة ومماثلة مع الظروف التي واجهتها المملكة العربية السعودية خلال حرب الخليج الثانية من حيث الاحترازات الصحية، وحظر التجول، والفاقد التعليمي، والأوضاع الاقتصادية والنفسية والاجتماعية مع فارق الزمن، وتتلخص أهم التوصيات في: زيادة الوعي المجتمعي بالمشكلات التي تواجهها أمهات ذوي الإعاقة، لاسيما العاملات منهن، وتدريب أسر ذوي الإعاقة في مجال تأهيل وتعليم ذوي الإعاقة في المنزل عند حالات الطوارئ، بالإضافة إلى دعوة المعنيين والمسؤولين في وزارة الصحة لتوفير الدعم الصحي المنزلي الخاص بذوي الإعاقة. This study aimed to explore the experiences of working mothers of individuals with disabilities during the Covid-19 pandemic. A phenomenological qualitative approach was adopted to achieve the study objectives. The study included several participants consisting of working mothers of individuals with disabilities in Saudi Arabia, totaling nine mothers. They were purposively selected from various cities in different regions of Saudi Arabia, representing different professions including six teachers, an administrative assistant, an accountant, and a faculty member. The ages of the participants ranged between 34 and 49 years. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather the study's findings, revealing the participants' experiences during the pandemic. The results indicated various concerns and challenges related to contracting the virus, uncertainty about the future, as well as educational, economic, social, familial, and psychological challenges during the pandemic period. These challenges were mostly centered around the disabled child. Moreover, the study linked these challenges and concerns to previous and similar events that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had faced, such as the Gulf War, in terms of health precautions, curfews, educational setbacks, economic, psychological, and social conditions, despite the time difference. The main recommendations can be summarized as follows: increasing public awareness of the challenges faced by mothers of individuals with disabilities, especially those who are employed, training families of individuals with disabilities in the field of rehabilitation and education for individuals with disabilities at home during emergencies, in addition to calling on relevant authorities and officials in the Ministry of Health to provide home healthcare support for individuals with disabilities. |
