| المستخلص: | تهدف الدراسة إلى الكشف عن ظاهرة الاحتفال بالهالوين في المدارس الدولية في مصر، وضم الإطار النظري للدراسة: المفاهيم، ونتائج الدراسات السابقة، والنظرية الوظيفية. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الكيفي من خلال المقابلات مع بعض المسؤولين في عدد من المدارس الدولية، وأولياء الأمور، والأطفال. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى التالي: أن الهالوين عيد وثني، يرتبط بالثقافة الغربية، ولا يحمل أي قيمة يمكن تعليمها للطلاب؛ احتفال الهالوين لا يلائم المدارس، الاحتفال بالهالوين لا يحقق وظيفة الاحتفالات كما حددها كل من دوركايم، واتزوني؛ كثيرا من الاحتفالات الغربية ومنها الهالوين قد تم إنشاؤها ومأسستها لأهداف سياسية واقتصادية واجتماعية خاصة بالدول الغربية؛ التباين في آراء مسؤولي المدارس حول الاحتفال، وأيضا في آراء أولياء أمور الطلاب ما بين مؤيد، ومعارض، ومتردد، والرؤية السطحية لدى العديد منهم حول هذا الاحتفال احتفال المدارس بالهالوين نابع من ارتباط المدارس بالثقافة الغربية التي تتبع نظامها التعليمي، وبالرغبة في زيادة عدد الأنشطة اللاصفية للمدرسة، وبالحصول على تقييم مرتفع من الجهة التي تتبع نظامها التعليمي، ومن الطلاب، ومن أولياء الأمور. حيث تتلخص الوظيفة الأساسية لاحتفالات المدارس الدولية بالهالوين؛ في نشر فكر العولمة وتحقيق المواطنة العالمية، ونشر الثقافة الغربية بين الطلاب المصريين. This present study aims to explore the phenomenon of celebrating Halloween in international schools in Egypt. The theoretical framework of the study includes concepts, previous research findings, and functional theory. The study has employed the qualitative approach through interviews with officials from several international schools, parents, and children. The study has reached the following conclusions: Halloween is a pagan holiday associated with Western culture and does not carry any values that can be taught to students. Halloween celebrations are not suitable for schools, and they do not fulfill the functions of celebrations as defined by Durkheim and Etzioni. Many Western celebrations, including Halloween, were created and established for political, economic, and social purposes specific to Western countries. There is a variation in the opinions of school officials and parents of students, ranging from supporters, opponents, and those who are undecided; and many of them have a superficial understanding of this celebration. Schools' celebration of Halloween stems from their association with the culture that follows their educational system, the desire to increase the number of extracurricular activities for the school, and to obtain a high evaluation from the educational system and students' parents. The main function of international schools' Halloween celebrations is to spread globalization thinking and achieve global citizenship, as well as to spread Western culture among Egyptian students. |
