| المستخلص: | يشكل الاهتمام بذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة واحدة من القضايا التي ما فتئت تأخذ اهتمام فئات عريضة من المجتمعات الإنسانية على المستويين الرسمي وغير الرسمي، من منطلق الواجب الإنساني الذي يفرض تمكين هذه الفئات، من ممارسة الحق في الحياة بكل أوجهه المتعددة، ومع تطور الحياة العصرية وزيادة طغيان الاعتماد على مخرجات التقنية الحديثة، زاد معها فرص التمكين لهذه الشرائح الاجتماعية الخاصة، التي وجدت فيها متنفسا جديدا لبعث حياة أفضل، ويشكل التعليم الذاتي والمعرفة، واحدة من المجالات التي تستقطب اهتمام هذه الفئات الخاصة، إثباتا لذواتها، ونافذة لتطوير الشخصية والمهارات الحياتية المختلفة، من هذا المنطلق كانت المكتبات واحدة من المؤسسات المجتمعية المختلفة التي تفتح أبوابها لهذه الشرائح، وتسخر إمكانياتها لتلبية احتياجاتهم المعرفية المختلفة، موظفة في ذلك كل ما تجود به التقنية، من أدوات جديدة، وتقنيات وأساليب مستحدثة، وهو ما سنتطرق إليه في هذه الدراسة التي ستسلط الضوء على دور التقنية في المكتبات في خدمة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. Caring for people with special needs is one of the issues that has continued to attract the attention of broad categories of human societies at both the formal and informal levels, based on the humanitarian duty that imposes enabling these groups to exercise the right to life in all its many aspects, and with the development of modern life and the increasing tyranny of dependence. Based on the outcomes of modern technology, the opportunities for empowerment of these special social segments have increased, in which they have found a new outlet to create a better life. Self-education and knowledge constitute one of the areas that attract the interest of these special groups, as an affirmation of themselves, and a window to develop personality and various life skills, from this. The starting point was that libraries were one of the various societal institutions that opened their doors to these segments, and harnessed their capabilities to meet their various knowledge needs, employing all that technology had to offer, in terms of new tools, techniques, and methods. This is what we will discuss in this study, which will shed light on the role of Technology in libraries serving people with special needs. |
