| المستخلص: | هدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة مستوى جودة الحياة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية من وجهة نظر أولياء أمورهم، ومعرفة مستوى جودة حياتهم في (تقرير المصير، والتأهيل المهني). ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، من خلال تطبيق الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات على عينة البحث المكونة من (81) ولي أمر للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية في مدينة مكة المكرمة، (30) أبا و(51) أما والذين اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية. وأشارت نتائج السؤال الرئيسي إلى أن مستوى جودة الحياة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.79). كما أشارت نتائج السؤال الفرعي الأول إلى أن مستوى جودة الحياة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية في تقرير المصير؛ جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.83). وأشارت نتائج السؤال الفرعي الثاني إلى أن مستوى جودة الحياة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية في التأهيل المهني؛ جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.74). ويوصي الباحثان بضرورة عمل الندوات والمحاضرات لأولياء الأمور؛ لرفع مستوى جودة الحياة لأبنائهم ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية. The current research aimed at exploring the level of quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities from their guardians’ perspectives. It also investigated the level of quality of their life in (self-determination and vocational rehabilitation) for people with intellectual disabilities from their guardians’ perspectives. In order to achieve this objective, the researchers employed the descriptive analytical research design and utilized a questionnaire as a data collection method. The sample of the study included 81 guardians (30 fathers and 51 mothers) selected randomly from Makkah City. The results of the primary research question indicated that the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities was at a moderate level. The overall means of the questionnaire was at a moderate level (2.79). The results of the first sub question revealed that quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in self-determination was at a moderate level and its mean value constituted (2.83). Besides, the results of the second sub-question revealed that quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in vocational rehabilitation was at a moderate level and its mean value composed (2.74). The researchers strongly recommend holding seminars and lectures to raise the awareness of the society and the individuals who take care of people with intellectual disabilities. They also recommend the guardians to take care of the quality of life of their family members who are intellectually disabled. |
