| المستخلص: | نجحت بكين في التوسط لإعادة العلاقات بين السعودية وإيران حيث اتفق الطرفان على عودة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بعد سبع سنوات من القطيعة. يعد الاتفاق نتاج قناعة الرياض وطهران بأن الصراع بينهما بات يتعارض مع مصالحهما فالسعودية ترغب في إنجاح رؤية 2030 وإعادة التموضع إقليميا، أما إيران فإنها ترغب في مواجهة موجة الاضطرابات الداخلية والعقوبات الخارجية التي بات تأثيرهما كبيرا على شرعية النظام، هذه الظروف ساعدت على نجاح الوساطة الصينية، فالمكاسب المنتظرة من السلام أكبر بكثير من المخاطر الناجمة عن استمرار العداء للجانبين السعودي والإيراني. هذا بالإضافة إلى المكاسب الاقتصادية والسياسية التي قد تجنيها بكين من لعب دور الوسيط، مع ذلك هناك العديد من التحديات التي تواجه هذا الاتفاق وفاعليته في وضع حد للعداء بين أهم قوتين إقليميتين. Beijing succeeded in mediating the restoration of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, as the two parties agreed to restore diplomatic relations after seven years of hostility. The agreement is the result of the belief of Riyadh and Tehran that the conflict between them has become contrary to their interests. Saudi Arabia wants the success of Vision 2030 and its regional repositioning. As for Iran, it wants to confront the wave of internal unrest and external sanctions, which have greatly affected the legitimacy of the regime. These circumstances helped the success of the Chinese mediation, as the expected gains from peace are much greater than the risks resulting from the continued hostility of the Saudi and Iranian sides. This is in addition to the economic and political gains that Beijing may reap from playing the mediating role. However, there are many challenges facing this agreement and its effectiveness in putting an end to hostility between the two most important regional powers. |
