| المستخلص: | On the first of November, according to the Algerian presidency, three Algerian civilians were bombed by Moroccan forces on the borders of Mauritania. This action caused acute tension between the two North African countries. These events that occurred in that area generated great media coverage in both the Algerian and the Spanish press. This study is an approximation of the vision that the Spanish press, in particular the newspaper El País, has had about this diplomatic tension between the two Maghreb countries. In this contribution we analyze what has been said in the three articles published on El País, on November 3, 4 and 5, 2021, written by journalist Francisco Peregil. El primero de noviembre, según afirma la presidencia argelina, tres civiles argelinos se vieron bombardeados por las fuerzas marroquíes en las fronteras de Mauritania. Esta acción provocó una aguda tensión entre los dos países norteafricanos. Estos hechos ocurridos en esa zona generaron una gran cobertura mediática tanto en la prensa argelina como en la española. Este estudio es una aproximación de la visión que ha tenido la prensa española, en particular el periódico El País, sobre dicha tensión diplomática entre los dos países magrebíes. En esta contribución analizamos lo que se ha dicho en los tres artículos publicados en El País, los días 3, 4 y 5 de noviembre del 2021, escritos por el periodista Francisco Peregil. |
