| المستخلص: | Following the COVID 19 pandamic, maritime transport traffic on an international scale suffered several disruptions, forcing ship-owners either to extend the duration of transport or to modify the port of destination provided for in the contract of carriage or to undergo the quarantine procedure required by some ports. This situation had several repercussions on the obligation of punctuality of the maritime carrier engaging in certain cases its responsibility for delay in the delivery of goods Suite à la pandémie du COVID 19, le trafic du transport maritime à l’échelle internationale a subi plusieurs perturbations contraignant les armateurs soit à prolonger la durée du transport ou à modifier le port de destination prévu par le contrat de transport maritime ou encore à subir la procédure de quarantaine exigée par certains ports. Cette situation a eu plusieurs répercutions sur l’obligation de ponctualité du transporteur maritime engageant dans certains cas sa responsabilité pour retard à la livraison des marchandises. |
