| المستخلص: | مر العالم بتغيرات متنوعة في القرن الحادي والعشرون وتنوعت هذ المتغيرات في جميع النواحي (الصحية، البيئية، الاقتصادية، .....) وأثرت هذه المتغيرات على تقنية توظيف مبادئ الاستدامة في التصميم الثلاثة سواء كانت بيئية أو اقتصادية أو اجتماعية، وتعد هذه المبادئ الأساس عند تصميم أي فراغ داخلي متكامل ومتوافق بيئيا ومستجيب للمتطلبات التصميمية والبيئية والإنسانية من جميع الاتجاهات سواء تشكيليا أو وظيفيا، ونتيجة لهذه المتغيرات ظهرت الضرورة إلى إعادة دراسة العديد من التقنيات لتوظيف الإضاءة بقسميها سواء الطبيعية أو الصناعية في الفراغ الداخلي وذلك بغرض إعادة توظيفها تشكيليا ووظيفيا لتتناسب مع تلك المتغيرات البيئية التي اجتاحت العالم في القرن الحالي، ولتفعيل ذلك تم التعرف على أهم المحددات التصميمية للإضاءة الطبيعية والصناعية وفقا للوضع الحالي، وتقسيم أنواع الإضاءة البيئية تيسيرا لكيفية تصميمها وتوظيفها في الفراغ الداخلي وسيتم طرح رؤية جديدة للتواصل بين عناصر الفراغ الداخلي والإضاءة المستدامة بيئيا كعنصر أساسي ومؤثر على باقي عناصر الفراغ الداخلي تشكيليا ووظيفيا، ولتفعيل تلك الرؤية قام الباحث بتقديم مجموعة من المقترحات لاستخدام الإضاءة تشكيليا ووظيفيا لتحقيق التوافق الكامل بينها وبين باقي عناصر الفراغ الداخلي حيث تم التوصل إلى أهمية استخدام الإضاءة البيئية بتقنياتها المتطورة الحديثة بحيث تستجيب للمتطلبات التصميمية والإنسانية والبيئية وربطها بكل عناصر الفراغ الداخلي المستدام بيئيا وأهمية تشجيع المصممين الداخليين على تطوير حلول لرفع المستوى الجمالي والوظيفي للإضاءة بكل أنواعها بما يتوافق مع مفاهيم إعادة الاستخدام وإعادة التدوير للخامات البيئية والتأكيد على ضرورة تقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية والضارة وتوفير الطاقة لرفع مستوى الاستدامة البيئية للفراغات الداخلية لتهيئة مستقبل أفضل وأكثر استدامة.
