| المستخلص: | عد الاجتياح العراقي للكويت حدثا مهما في تاريخ العراق المعاصر عامة والقضية الكردية بصورة خاصة، وما رافقه من تطورات على الصعيدين السياسي والعسكري، فضلا عن التأثيرات الداخلية والخارجية التي ارتبطت بهذا الحدث، فقد دخل العراق مرحلة جديدة تختلف اختلافا جذريا عما سبقها، أثرت عليه سلبا على جميع الأصعدة، وأهم ما ميز تلك المرحلة هو حالة الضعف التي رافقت الانسحاب العراقي من الكويت وتزامن ذلك مع فقدان السلطة المركزية لــــــــــ (١٤)، محافظة عراقية من مجموع (۱۸)، بعد قيام انتفاضات شعبية عارمة في جنوب وشمال البلاد عصفت بالنظام وكادت أن تؤدي إلى تغييره لولا الإرادة الدولية، وبالتالي ظهور كيان كردي مستقل في شمال البلاد خارج يد السلطة المركزية في بغداد. The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait is an important event in the history of contemporary Iraq in general and the Kurdish issue in particular, and the accompanying developments at the political and military levels, as well as the internal and external influences that were associated with this event. Iraq has entered a new phase that is radically different from what preceded it, affecting it negatively at all levels. The most important characteristic of that stage is the state of weakness that accompanied the Iraqi withdrawal from Kuwait and coincided with the loss of central authority for fourteen Iraqi provinces out of a total of eighteen, after the massive popular uprisings in the south and north of the country ravaged the regime and almost led to its change except for the international will. Then, the emergence of an independent Kurdish entity in the north of the country outside the hands of the central authority in Baghdad. |
