Syntactic inclusion holds great significance in the field of grammar, with many scholars differing in their opinions regarding its validity. Some scholars permit syntactic inclusion, which involves a word containing the meaning of another word, while others reject it. Dr. Abdulfattah Salim was among those who permitted syntactic inclusion, and he believed that the essence of syntactic inclusion lay in having two verbs, each with a distinct meaning. This results in both verbs having primary and secondary meanings. Dr. Abdulfattah Salim also emphasized the role of syntactic inclusion in transforming certain verbs from being obligatory to permissive, a concept aligned with linguistic expansion. He conducted extensive studies on syntactic inclusion, citing numerous examples of words that could be permitted through this linguistic approach. Dr. Abdulfattah Salim's approval of syntactic inclusion was in accordance with the opinions of many other scholars who supported this linguistic phenomenon. |
