| المستخلص: | يستمد هذا البحث أهميته من حقيقة أنه يتناول موضوع طرق التدريس الحديثة كموضوع مهم لجميع جوانب عملية التعلم والتعليم، ويلقي الضوء على أسلوب العصف الذهني بهدف الاستفادة منه في بناء جسر.. الفجوة الناتجة عن الممارسات التقليدية في التدريس، ورفع المستوى الفكري وتحصيل الطلاب في المعايير التعليمية المختلفة. تحتل برامج الدراسات الاجتماعية مكانة مهمة في المناهج الدراسية في المراحل التعليمية المختلفة وتأتي هذه الأهمية من طبيعة التعليم. دور هذه المناهج في تزويد الطلاب بأهم قيم وعادات المجتمع الذي يعيشون فيه، واستخدام قدراتهم العقلية والبدنية لتحقيق رغباتهم وتطلعاتهم، وإنشاء مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية عنصر مهم في التعليم.
