| 520 | |b Morocco has recently joined the ranks of Arab countries that have normalized their relations with Israel, like the Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan. In a trilateral agreement brokered by the United States in December 2020, Israel and Morocco restored diplomatic relations. Tel Aviv is enthusiastic about the potential to expand trade relations with Morocco and strengthen their ties. The United States and Morocco share a long-standing relationship that dates back to the American Revolutionary War. They retained a key political alliance, with the United States recognizing Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara, in exchange for Morocco's help in the fight against terrorism. The influence of the United States could have a significant impact on the advancement of the southern provinces. The Israeli- Moroccan relationship is faced with several challenges and obstacles that constitute significant impediments to its development. One of the main challenges lies in the domestic political considerations of each country. The United States also has a vested interest in the efforts to combat terrorism in the region, this constitutes a major threat both to the safety of the inhabitants and to the balance of the surrounding territories. |d Le Maroc a récemment rejoint les rangs des pays arabes qui ont normalisé leurs relations avec Israël, à l'instar des Émirats, de Bahreïn et du Soudan.
