| المستخلص: | The relationship of Morocco with migration is rapidly changing, from a land of passage to a land of settlement for different sub-Saharan migrants. This article aims at answering the following question: how is Morocco approaching the issue of irregular immigration? Throughout this research, the author has demonstrated that the enforcing nature of regulatory measures targeting immigrants is no longer sufficient to contain the increasing influx of migrants at the borders of Morocco. Thus a new and more humane approach must be implemented to better welcome sub-Saharan migrants and allow them to better serve morocco and its interests. |
