| المستخلص: | هدفت الدراسة إلى رصد تصورات ومواقف الأكاديميين والخبراء والمهنيين في تخصص المكتبات والمعلومات نحو مستقبل المكتبات في ظل استخدام وتوظيف تقنية الميتافيرس بها، والكشف عن أهم التحديات التي تواجه توظيف تقنية الميتافيرس في المكتبات. وتعد هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الاستشرافية التي تعتمد على مدخل استشراف المستقبل واعتمدت على منهج المسح، واستخدمت الدراسة أداتي الاستبانة والمقابلة المتعمقة وتطبيقها على عينة من الخبراء المهنيين، والأكاديميين. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن المكتبات بشقيها التقليدية والرقمية تواجه تحديات كبيرة في ظل التطورات التقنية الحديثة، وتتمثل أبرز التحديات التي تواجه المكتبات التحديات المالية، يليها التحديات الإدارية، ثم التحديات التكنولوجية وغياب الكوادر البشرية المدربة. تتمتع عينة الدراسة باتجاهات إيجابية مرتفعة نحو تطبيقات الميتافيرس في المكتبات. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة العمل على تأهيل وتدريب أخصائيي المكتبات والمعلومات على المهارات التي تؤهلهم للاستعداد، والاستفادة من تطبيقات الميتافيرس. The study aimed to monitor the perceptions and attitudes of academics, experts, and professionals in the field of libraries and information towards the future of libraries in light of the use and employment of metaverse technology in them, and to reveal the most important challenges facing the employment of metaverse technology in libraries. This study is considered one of the Foresight studies that rely on the entrance of the future outlook, and relied on the survey methodology. The study used the tools of the questionnaire and the in-depth interview and applied it to a sample of professional and academic experts. The study concluded that libraries, both traditional and digital, face great challenges in light of recent technical developments. The most prominent challenges facing libraries are financial challenges, followed by administrative challenges, then technological challenges and the absence of trained human cadres. The study sample has high positive attitudes towards metaverse applications in libraries. The study recommended the necessity of rehabilitating and training library and information specialists on the skills that qualify them to prepare and benefit from the metaverse applications. |
