| المستخلص: | This research paper seeks to study and analyze the nature of Obama's strategy in confronting ISIS in Iraq. It aimsto examine the most important reasons why the Obama administration adopted an offensive containment strategy based on limited military intervention, and rejected the involvement of U.S. ground forces in the battle. Which calls for a full-scale war that has slowed the U.S. response and delayed the resolution process. This research also aims to demonstrate the objectives the U.S. seeks to achieve from that strategy. |
