| المستخلص: | أجريت الدراسة بإقليم دارفور بهدف التعرف على السلطان علي دينار وسلطنة دار مساليت ومقاومتها للاستعمار الفرنسي وإظهار الجوانب المشتركة بينهما ومدى أثرها على سكان السلطنتين وتتبع تاريخهما واتحادهما ضد الغزو الفرنسي وسقوط كل منهما على يد الإنجليز والفرنسيين، أهمية الدراسة تتمثل في إبراز مكانة سلطنة دار مسالت وتوضيح دور السلطان علي دينار تجاه محاربة الفرنسيين، أما مشكلة الدراسة فهي كيف كانت الأحوال السياسية في سلطنة دار مساليت قبل السلطان تاج الدين، ما التغيرات التي أحدثها سلاطين دار مساليت، تمثل طرق المعالجة في البحث العميق لسلطنة دار مساليت والسلطان علي دينار ودورهما ضد المستعمر. أهم النتائج: التراث الإسلامي البطولي الذي خلفه المساليت يعد زخيرة للمسلمين. رغم التنافر بين السلطنتين إلا أن هناك قواسم مشتركة بينهما في العادات والتقاليد، أما التوصيات فهي تشمل جمع البحوث والدراسات المتعلقة بسلطنة دار مساليت والسلطان علي دينار الاهتمام بموروث سلاطين المساليت وعلاقاتهم الخارجية. The study was conducted in the Darfur region with the aim of identifying Sultan Ali Dinar and the Sultanate of Dar Masalit and their resistance to the French colonialism and showing the common aspects between them and the extent of its impact on the population of the two sultans and tracing their history and union against the French invasion and the fall of each of them at the hands of the English and the French. The importance of the study is to highlight the status of the Sultanate of Dar Masalit and to clarify the role of Sultan Ali Dinar in fighting the French. The problem of the study is how the political conditions were in the Sultanate of Dar Masalit before Sultan Taj al-Din, what changes were made by the sultans of Dar Masalit, representing the methods of treatment in the deep research of the Sultanate Dar Masalit and Sultan Ali Dinar and their role against the colonizer. The most important results: The heroic Islamic heritage left by the Masalit is a source of wealth for Muslims. Despite the dissonance between the two sultanates, there are common denominators between them in customs and traditions. As for the recommendations, they include collecting research and studies related to the Sultanate of Dar Masalit and Sultan Ali Dinar.
