| المستخلص: | Despite their small size, the many obstacles they encounter and their management style distinguishing them from large companies, SMEs have imposed themselves in recent years to constitute a real lever of economic growth. In Algeria, it is thanks to the various support and promotion programs that SMEs have multiplied since the 90s. Currently, they play a considerable role in the economy, particularly in the creation of jobs and wealth. This article aims mainly to analyze the institutional data relating to Algerian SMEs as well as the reality of their environment in an attempt to show their contribution to the national economy, but also to identify their particularities and the obstacles hindering their development. Malgré leur dimension réduite, les nombreux obstacles qu’elles rencontrent et leur mode de gestion les distinguant des grandes entreprises, les PME se sont imposées ces dernières années pour constituer un véritable levier de croissance économique. En Algérie, c’est grâce aux différents programmes de soutien et de promotion que les PME se sont multipliées depuis les années 90. Actuellement, elles jouent un rôle considérable dans l’économie, notamment dans la création d’emploi et de richesses. Cet article vise principalement à analyser les données institutionnelles relatives aux PME algériennes ainsi que la réalité de leur environnement pour tenter de montrer leur apport à l’économie nationale, mais aussi de cerner leurs particularités et les obstacles freinant leur développement. |
