| المستخلص: | هدف البحث إلى التعرف على "واقع استخدام طلاب الدراسات العليا بجامعة الوادي الجديد لمكتبات الجامعة". وذلك لتحديد نقاط القوة والضعف ومحاولة علاجها والتعرف علي ميول وآراء طلاب العينة من طلاب الدراسات العليا فيما تقدمه متبات الجامعة من خدمات باستخدام المنهج الدراسة الميدانية وعلى عينة بلغ قوامها (92) طالب في العام الدراسي (2022/2022) واستخدمت الباحثة أدوات الاستبيانات والزيارات الميدانية والمقابلات الشخصية وفحص السجلات. ذلك خلص البحث إلى النتائج التالية: - تقدم مكتبات الجامعة عدد من الخدمات الجيدة مثل خدمات الإعارة والاطلاع الداخلي والتصوير والنسخ الورقي والبحث بالإنترنت وتقوم بدور جدي في حدود إمكانياتها هذه لكن يوجد قصورا في خدمات أخرى مثل المسح الضوئي وعدم وجود المكتبات الرقمية والنظام الآلي الذي توقف عند استقلال الجامعة عن جامعة أسيوط. - عدم وجود مكتبة مركزية وقلة عدد أمناء المكتبات المؤهلين وضعف خدمات الإرشاد أو التوجيه وقلة الدورات التدريبية للعاملين والطلاب مع عدم توافر بعض الخدمات واقتصار الخدمات علي الخدمات التقليدية من أهم نقاط الضعف من وجهة نظر طلاب العينة من طلاب الدراسات العليا والذين كانت آرائهم إيجابية نحو نقاط القوة وهي المقتبيات خاصة الكتب والرسائل الجامعية والدوريات والقواميس كذلك أشاد الطلاب بالجو العام بالمكتبات حيث الهدوء والإضاءة الجيدة وكذلك موقع المكتبات القريب كان من أكثر النقاط التي أشاد بها الطلاب. The research aims to identify the reality of graduate students' utilization of university libraries at New Valley University to assess strengths and weaknesses and propose remedies. It also sought to explore the inclinations and opinions of a sample of 92 graduate students regarding the services provided by the university libraries. The study employed the field study method during the academic year 2022/2022. The researcher utilized questionnaires, conducted field visits, held personal interviews, and examined records. The research culminated in the following outcomes: The university libraries offer several commendable services such as borrowing, internal viewing, photography, hard copying, and Internet research, playing a significant role within their capabilities. However, shortcomings exist in other areas such as scanning, the absence of digital libraries, and the interruption of the automated system since the university's independence from Assiut University. The absence of a central library, a shortage of qualified librarians, inadequate guidance or counseling services, the lack of training courses for staff and students, limited availability of certain services, and a focus on traditional services are among the most notable weaknesses according to the sample of postgraduate students. Despite these weaknesses, students expressed positive views on the strengths, particularly the collections, including books, university theses, periodicals, and dictionaries.
