| المستخلص: | درس هذا البحث الزمكانية في قصص "الثالثة والعشرون"؛ وتكمن أهمية المكان في أنه ظرف للأحداث، أمكنة هندسها المانع واختار لها أزمنة تتلاءم معها لتكونا قصة تعبر عن رؤيته. وفي توظيفه الأمكنة المختلفة: المفتوحة والمغلقة، المرتفعة والمنخفضة، المتحركة والساكنة؛ الطبيعية والنفسية والسريعة والبطيئة، رسم للقارئ صورة من الحرمان الذي يعاني منه ساكنو هذه الأمكنة في أزمنتهم المختلفة. وتوصل البحث إلى أن معظم الأمكنة التي استخدمها الكاتب جاءت معبرة عن الفقر والحرمان؛ وبعضها بدأت صغيرة وساكنة، ثم نمت وتحركت، وقد استخدم مكان مشفر يواكب القصة المعاصرة، كما أن البحث أول بعض الأزمنة والأمكنة. وطغى عنصر المكان في أغلب. القصص على عنصر الزمان. we studied time-place in the "twenty-third" stories; The importance of the place lies in the fact that it is a circumstance for the events, And in his employment of different places, drawing a picture of the deprivation suffered by the inhabitants of these places in their different times.
