| المستخلص: | In-depth interview, one of qualitative research methods, has been widely used in a variety of disciplines in which the researcher obtains detailed information directly from the participants to explore in depth their underlying opinions, motivations, beliefs, experiences, and feelings on a particular subject. The purpose of the present paper is to provide various definitions of in-depth interview, its epistemological origins, the history of its use, the different types of interviews, the purposes for which it is used. This article aims to introduce the principles and procedures that should be used in conducting in-depth interviews. |
