| المستخلص: | ينطلق البحث من فكرة مفادها أن التقادم السريع في الجانب التكنولوجي ألقى بظلاله وبصورة مباشرة على مجمل العلاقات بين الدول، بل أن النظام الدولي شهد منعطفاً حاداً سببه التطور الحاصل في التكنولوجيا، غير أن هذا التطور جعل نسبية العلاقة بين الدول تتفاوت من حيث انتقال السباق من الجانب العسكري التقليدي إلى سباق في الجانب التكنو-عسكري، وأصبح ميادين التنافس بين تلك الدول شاملة إلا أنها في الوقت ذاته محدد بإطار تكنولوجي بحت وهو ما تم نقله إلى السباق نحو الفضاء، فعلى الرغم من أننا ما نلبث أن نشهد تغيراً تكتيكياً في طبيعة التنافس بين الدول، فسرعان ما يظهر عاملاً آخراً ينقل لنا صورة جلية عن التغيرات الحاصلة في ديناميكية النظام الدولي، ومجمل الأمر ينظر إلى ذلك في ظل الأزمات المتعاقبة والتي هي السبب الواضح الذي يمكن من خلاله اكتشاف عن لا متناهية التغيرات الجيوسياسية في هذا النظام، أنموذجاً من ذلك كله نجد أن العلاقة بين الولايات المتحدة والصين يشوبها الكثير من الغموض إلا أنه وفي العشرون سنة المنصرمة نجد أن هناك خصوصية في علاقتهما حيث شهد العلاقة بين الطرفين منحنياً جيوسياسياً متأثراً بالثورة التكنولوجية الأخيرة، التكنولوجية لم تكن وليدة اللحظة في تغير ملامح تلك العلاقة إلا أن دخول التكنولوجية في قطاعات جديدة هي التي أثرت على ذلك المشهد، وأزمة كورونا الأخيرة أفرزت هذا الصراع على السطح بشكل أكبر من السابق، كل تلك العوامل مجتمعة يمكن النظر إليها بعين مغايرة لتلك التي كان متعارف عليها قبل العشرين سنة المنصرمة والتي أكدت أن جوهر العلاقة بين موضوعي البحث لا يمكن أن تبقى على الحال التي كانت عليه لأن عملية التفاعل المستمر في النظام الدولي والتي كان من أهم أسبابها التطور التكنولوجي في القطاعات عامة هي التي جعلت من الصعوبة استمرار التنافس بينهما بصورة تقليدية محضة.
