| المستخلص: | ليس من المنطق الاكاديمي إهمال دور البالتيمور الأول جورج كالفرت George Calvert في تمهيد المسار لابنه سيسيل Cecil في تأسيس مستعمرة دينية له في أمريكا الشمالية لأسباب جوهرية؛ فلو أخذنا توجهات جورج كالفرت إلى غايتها من حيث الطموح والمساعي، للاحظنا طموحه الجامح في تحقيق ذلك باسم عائلة كالفرت دون كشفه عن المقاصد الكامنة من وراء ذلك، وليس من شك أن جورج كالفرت قد فهم جيدا أن حرية المعتقد الديني في إنكلترا آنذاك، أكثر هوانا وضعفا مما كان يعتقد به الكثيرون، فتوازناتها السياسية والدينية مضطرب للغاية على الصعيد الاجتماعي، هذا من جانب ومن جانب أخر يلحظ المتتبع لتاريخ الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، أن معظم الباحثين وحتى بعض المؤرخين ينسبون مسألة تأسيس مستعمرة مريلاند Maryland إلى ابنه سيسيل متغافلين عن ذلك بقصد أو بدون قصد الدور الريادي لجورج كالفرت في تأسيس مستعمرة مريلاند. It is not academically reasonable to neglect the role of first Baltimore George Calvert in paving the way for his son Cecil in establishing his religious colony in North America for fundamental reasons. If we took George Calvert's orientations to their goal in terms of ambition and endeavors, we would have noticed his unbridled ambition to achieve this in the name of the Calvert family without revealing the intentions behind it, and there is no doubt that George Calvert understood well that the freedom of the religious complex in England at that time was more feeble and weak From what many believed, its political and religious balances are very turbulent on the social level. On the one hand, and on the other hand, a follower of the history of the United States of America notes that most researchers and even some historians attribute the issue of the establishment of the Maryland colony to his son Cecil, ignoring intentionally or unintentionally the role George Calvert pioneered the establishment of the colony of Maryland. |
