| المستخلص: | يعد التمتع بالصحة المالية الكافية شرطًا أساسيًا لتحقيق أهداف أي مؤسسة سواء كانت ربحية أو غير ربحية لذا يعد تقييم الصحة المالية لأي شركة من خلال التحليل المالي وتحديد نقاط القوة والضعف فيها مع اقتراح التحسينات الممكنة من أجل رفع مستوى أداءها المالي أمر في غاية الأهمية لضمان استمرار الشركة، وتبرز أهمية التمتع بالصحة المالية بالنسبة للشركات أكثر بعد ظاهرة فشل الأعمال خلال السبعينيات وبالخصوص خلال سنوات الركود من (1982-1980)، تعد عملية دراسة الوضع المالي للشركة العراقية وتقييم الصحة المالية المستقبلية أمر ضروري ومفصلي في وقتنا الراهن حيث لم يعد مجرد تجنب الإفلاس معيارًا مقبولًا في مجال الأعمال بل يجب أن تكون الإدارة سباقة في تحديد الفرص ولمخاطر وأن تقيم باستمرار الصحة المالية المستقبلية للشركة قبل أن تنعكس المخاطر في نتائج البيانات المالية لها لذا قامت الدراسة الحالية بتحديد ثماني مؤشرات مالية يمكن من خلالها تحديد مدى تمتع الشركات عينة الدراسة بالصحة المالية من عدمها وبالاعتماد على النموذج الذي وضعته الحكومة الإندونيسية بقرار صادر عن وزارة الشركات المملوكة للدولة في إندونيسيا في يونيو (2002) وهو قياس إلزامي لتصنيف الحالة المالية الصحية لجميع الشركات التابعة للشركات المملوكة للدولة.
