| المستخلص: | This paper reports on our anthropological study on the ancient omega [Ω] silver fibula "Tabzimt", which originates from the Aures mountains. We have described the designs and the components of this brooch; we have tried to go beyond the visual representation of this brooch to give meanings to these symbols in relation to their past and traditional inspirations. Given that the Aurès region is known for its conservatism of its art and its ancestral culture, this jewel in particular is a witness object that has preserved Chaouis and Amazigh socio-cultural values; it also carries a universal dimension. In this article we have presented hypotheses on the origin of this fibula, as we have cited various influences that would have effected over time the Chaoui people and their art, by evoking: the Greeks, the Phoenicians, the Hebrews and Roman Christians; we dive straight into the entire ancient Mediterranean world.
