| المستخلص: | يعتبر مفهوم الاقتصاد الرقمي من المفاهيم الجديدة التي ظهرت في الميدان الاقتصادي في وقتنا الراهن، ويعتبر تطبيق الاقتصاد الرقمي في اقتصادات الدول، أمرا مسلما به ولا سيما في اقتصادات الدول المتقدمة وفي اقتصادات الدول السائرة على طريق النمو، لما له من أهمية واضحة في فاعلية النشاطات الاقتصادية كافة، مما جعل الاقتصاد العالمي أكثر قوة ومتانة في مواجهة الأزمات العالمية، حيث تناول هذا البحث عرض مفهوم الاقتصاد الرقمي وبيان مدى ظهوره في اقتصادات الدول، ومستوى مساهمته في تطور القطاعات الاقتصادية وزيادة الناتج، كونه اقتصاد مبني على المعرفة يعتمد بشكل أساسي على التكنلوجيا ووسائل الاتصال الحديثة والمتطورة، حيث تناول هذا البحث عرض مفهوم الاقتصاد الرقمي ومساهمته في تطور القطاعات الاقتصادية وزيادة الناتج، كونه اقتصاد مبني على المعرفة يعتمد بشكل أساسي على التكنلوجيا ووسائل الاتصال الحديثة والمتطورة بعد أن كان يرتكز على القوة العضلية والآلات الضخمة والمواد الخام حيث أصبحت الممارسات الاقتصادية متاحة لأكبر عدد من الناس في جميع أنحاء العالم بواسطة التقنية المعلوماتية ووسائل الاتصالات المتطورة، وقد حاول البحث الإجابة عن بعض المسائل المتعلقة بالاقتصاد الرقمي وهي: هل هناك ظهور للاقتصاد الرقمي في اقتصادات الدول، وهل توجد أهمية للاقتصاد الرقمي في الاقتصاد العالمي، وما هو مستوى مساهمة الاقتصاد الرقمي في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي؟ وقد انتهج البحث الأسلوب الوصفي التحليلي من خلال استعراض وتحليل الدراسات والأبحاث والمقالات التي تعرضت إلى الاقتصاد الرقمي في اقتصادات دول العالم المختلفة، لتكوين إطار نظري للدراسة، وقد استنتج البحث أن الاقتصاد الرقمي قد نشأ في بدايات القرن العشرين وهو أسلوب جديد لممارسة الأعمال والأنشطة الاقتصادية، يختلف من ناحية مؤشراته عن اقتصاد المعرفة، وأن له مساهمة فعالة في خلق القيمة المضافة في اقتصادات بلدان العالم المختلفة.
