| 520 | |a كان الإنسان منذ القدم على صلة وثيقة بموجودات الطبيعة من حوله، إذ تعامل مع هذه الموجودات من جماد ونبات وحيوان بما يحقق له النفع والألفة، وبما يخدم حياته المعيشة. وإن الحيوان بمختلف أنواعه وصوره من أكثر هذه الموجودات التصاقا بحياة الإنسان، فهو وسيلته في الحرب ورفيقه في السفر، ومصدر طعامه وشرابه، مما جعل صورته واضحة على مر العصور، وفي هذا البحث سوف نتعرف على صور الحيوان من منظور "أوغسطين" والفكر الغربي، فإنه ليس ثمة شك بأن أكثر حركات "حقوق الحيوان" في العالم هي حركات مسيحية الأصول، باعتبار المنتمين إليها، على رأسهم وليم كاوهيرد أول قسيس مسيحي يؤسس لفكرة "النباتية المسيحية" فقد نادى أتباعه بفكرة المنع عن أكل الحيوانات تورعا وزهدا، بالإضافة لأندرو لنزني أشهر القساوسة الكتاب ذوي النشاط الكثيف في الدفاع عن حقوق الحيوان. وكذلك الجاحظ دافع الجاحظ عن الحيوان وحقه في الحياة؛ حيث ظهر ذلك بشكل متكامل في كتابه "الحيوان" حيث ذكر للحيوانات فضائل أخلاقية مثل الإنسان، كوفاء الكلب، وخبث الثعلب. |b The importance of the research lies in the fact that it deals with a kind of thorny philosophical issues, these human and environmental issues can be called controversial problems, as well as questionable, as no philosopher has a strict opinion, or a definitive thought that can end the dispute over these issues, this is because the animal problem is in its origin a moral problem, while it is also an environmental problem. Since the research falls within one of the most important branches of contemporary applied philosophy, which is the philosophy of environment, if the environment is that physical, chemical, and biological medium that surrounds all living organisms, including man, then the philosophy of environment deals with what should be human behavior in Dealing with his environment, including land, plants, animals, and others. Therefore, environmental philosophy was one of the most important branches of normative philosophy such as aesthetics and ethics, as it examines the relationship of man to the earth, and the animals and plants that grow on it. Therefore, the research came from two medieval Islamic and Christian philosophers, namely: Augustine and Al-Jahiz. | ||
