| المستخلص: | التخطيط الشرطي هو التخطيط الذي يهدف إلى مواجهة التغيرات الأمنية المحتمل حدوثها في مختلف مجالات العمل الشرطي. وذلك بالبحث والتحري وجمع المعلومات بما يمكن القائمين على عملية التخطيط من مواجهة الإرهاب والذي يعبر عن كل فعل إجرامي يبلغ من العنف حدا يترتب عليه إشاعة اضطراب والفوضى بين الأفراد والسلطات وينطوي على إخلال بالنظام العام مما يهدد كيان الدولة، والأعلام الأمني يعبر عن المعلومات الكاملة والجديدة والهامة التي تغطى كافة الأحداث والحقائق والأوضاع والقوانين المتعلقة بأمن المجتمع واستقراره، ويمكن استخدام الأعلام الأمني لمواجهة الإرهاب من خلال تهيئة الرأي العام للمواجهة الأمنية للبؤر الإرهابية، والاستعداد الإعلامي إثناء المواجهة الأمنية للبؤر الإرهابية. من أهم نتائج البحث يمكن القضاء على الإرهاب بالتخطيط الشرطي الجيد لكافة الإرهاب من خلال جمع المعلومات الكافية وتحليلها بشأن كل بؤرة، ووضع خطط أساسية وخطط بديلة للتعامل مع تلك البؤر، أصبح الأعلام له دور حيوي وخطير على تكوين الرأي العام. لذلك فالأعلام الأمني دور بالغ الأهمية في التعامل مع وسائل الأعلام المختلفة لتقديم لهم المعلومات والحقائق لطبيعة المهام التي تقوم بها وزارة الداخلية خاصة في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب، ويجب الترويج إعلاميا تجاه مكافحة الإرهاب لتكوين جبهة رأى عام مؤيدة للقضاء عليه، كما يجب تشكل فريق لإدارة الأزمات أثناء مكافحة الإرهاب.
