| المستخلص: | يهدف البحث إلى تحديد مفهوم الاستدلال بالأولى، وبيان الفرق بين الاستدلال بالأولى وقياس الأولى الذي ذكره السيوطي، كما يهدف إلى بيان الاعتداد بالأولى دليلا من أدلة النحو القياسية، والكشف عن صور استدلال ابن يعيش بالأولى، وبيان العلل التي بنى عليها ابن يعيش استدلاله بالأولى، وتوضيح دور ابن يعيش في استدلاله بالأولى بين الاجتهاد والتقليد، ويعد الاستدلال بالأولى دليلا من أدلة النحو القياسية، له ما يميزه عن غيره من صور القياس؛ إذ يثبت حكم المقيس عليه للمقيس، مع جعل المقيس أولى بالحكم؛ لتضمنه علة الحكم في المقيس عليه وزيادة. وقد استدل به ابن يعيش في شرحه على المفصل، في مسائل نحوية متعددة، وقد تنوعت صور الاستدلال بالأولى عند ابن يعيش، فكثيرا ما يستدل به لتأبيد رأيه، وقد يستدل به لإبطال رأي مخالفه، وقد يستدل به لتأصيل استعمال لغوي من جهة القياس، وقد يستدل به تأييدا لرأى غيره، مع أنه عنده مرجوح، وقد يورد استدلال غيره بالأولى ليبطله؛ وعليه فالهدف من هذا البحث هو دراسة الاستدلال بالأولى دراسة نظرية للتعريف به، وبيان الاعتداد به دليلا من أدلة النحو، مع التطبيق على مسائل النحو عند ابن يعيش، في شرحه على المفصل؛ لبيان طريقته في الاستدلال بالأولى.
