| المستخلص: | المفارقة التصويرية تكنيك مختلف تماما عن الطباق والمقابلة، سواء من ناحية بنائه الفني، أو من ناحية وظيفته الإيحائية؛ وذلك لأن المفارقة التصويرية تقوم على إبراز التناقض بين طرفيها، هذا التناقض الذي قد يمتد ليشمل القصيدة برمتها؛ فتقوم كلها على مفارقة تصويرية كبيرة. والتناقض في المفارقة التصويرية- في أبرز صوره- فكرة تقوم على استنكار الاختلاف والتفاوت بين أوضاع كان من شأنها أن تتفق وتتماثل، أو بتعبير مقابل تقوم على افتراض ضرورة الاتفاق فيما واقعه الاختلاف، والشاعر المعاصر يستغل هذه العملية في تصوير بعض المواقف والقضايا التي يبرز فيها هذا التناقض، وتقوم المفارقة التصويرية بدور فعال في إبراز أبعاد هذه المواقف، وتلك القضايا، أما الطباق والمقابلة فإنهما يقومان على مجرد الجمع بين ضدين في الطباق، أو مجموعة من الأضداد في المقابلة في عبارة واحدة، دون اهتمام بإبراز التناقض القائم بين هذه الأضداد، أو استخدامه استخداما تعبيريا؛ بل دون اشتراط وجود تناقض واقعى في السياق الشعرى بين هذه الأضداد؛ فكل ما كان يهتم به البلاغي القديم هو مجرد وجود التضاد أو التقابل اللغوي بين مدلولي لفظتين، أو بين مدلولات عدد من الألفاظ حتى وإن نظمت هذه الألفاظ المتضادة في سياق واحد لا يقوم على التناقض؛ بل يقوم على التكامل، وهذا هو شأن معظم صور الطباق والمقابلة.
