| المستخلص: | تتعدد مظاهر الاختصار "Abbreviation" في اللغات، ويشكل النحت وسيلة لغوية مهمة في تنمية ثرواتها اللفظية والاصطلاحية؛ تلبية لمتطلبات التعبير عن الجديد في مجالات الحياة العامة والعلمية والتقنية. وللتدقيق إتماما للفائدة بدأ البحث بعصب الموضوع وهو عرض تاريخي عني فيه بدراسة دلالات مصطلح النحت عند علماء العربية قديما وحديثا، ومناقشتها؛ لنخلص إلى المصطلح الذي يرتضيه البحث منها، ولننتقل إلى عرض ألفاظ منحوتة لنا اقترحناها في مقامات مختلفة، ثم نختم بعرض سريع لبعض صور الاختصار الذائعة في لغتنا العربية وغيرها. There are various types of abbreviations in languages, and blending is considered a linguistically important tool in the development of language vocabulary and idiomatic meaning, with the aim of meeting the requirements of new terminologies used in the public life, scientific and technical related aspects. Carrying out an in-depth examination and analysis, the study begins by focusing on the most important aspect- a historical view; it is designed to deal with an intensive study of meanings and a detailed discussion of the blending-related terminology led by ancient and modern Arab scholars, in order to come up with terminologies suggested by the researcher. Then, the study moves on to illustrate example of blended words in different contexts and occasions as well. Finally, the study seeks to have a close and quick look at some of the most commonly-used blended words in both Arabic and other languages. |
