| 520 | |b Our research falls within the field of didactic the French language, and aims to study the intercultural dimension in the French textbook for middle school students. The choice of our subject falls within the pedagogical perspective, which aims to develop intercultural competence. Our study is part of a multicultural context that deals with the multiple relationships and different connections that may exist between the source culture and the target culture, conveyed by the literary texts to be taught. We have tried to make a comparison between two intended textbooks; it is about the books of the first generation and the second generation of the fourth medium. The results of our investigation reveal that the second generation textbook reveals a desire on the part of the designers of this guide to inculcate intercultural competence in learners. |d Notre recherche s’inscrit en didactique du FLE, a pour ambition d'étudier la dimension interculturelle dans le manuel de français de la 4ème AM. Le choix de notre sujet s’inscrit dans la perspective pédagogique qui vise le développement de la compétence interculturelle. Notre étude s’inscrit dans le contexte interculturel qui s’occupe des multiples rapports et des différents contacts pouvant exister entre la culture source et la culture cible, véhiculés par les textes littéraires à enseigner. Nous avons essayé de faire une comparaison entre deux manuels scolaires destinés, il s’agit du manuel scolaire de la 4ème AM de la 1ère génération et celui de la 2ème génération. Les résultats de notre investigation dévoilent que le manuel scolaire de 4ème AM deuxième génération révèle qu’il existe une volonté de la part des concepteurs de ce manuel d’installer chez les apprenants une compétence interculturelle. | ||
