| المستخلص: | Mafalda is a very famous Argentine strip named after the main character; a six-year-old girl who embodies many of the thoughts of adults. With a fine irony, she managed to tackle social, political, economic, local and international problems. Through this investigation, we resorted to Discourse Analysis to show the extent to which the current Venezuelan case can be identified in these vignettes. The results of this investigation proved that Mafalda became an icon because she managed to question the Argentine and Venezuelan public and surely that of any society in tension. Mafalda es una tira argentina muy célebre que lleva el nombre de la protagonista principal; una niña de seis años que encarna muchos de los pensamientos de adultos. Con una fina ironía, logró abordar problemas sociales, políticos, económicos, de carácter local e internacional. A través de esta investigación, recurrimos al Análisis del Discurso para mostrar hasta qué punto se puede identificar el caso venezolano actual en dichas viñetas. Los resultados de esta investigación comprobaron que Mafalda se convirtió en un ícono porque logró interpelar al público argentino, venezolano y seguramente el de cualquier sociedad en tensión. |
